I sometimes get this popup that there is a newer version. It's not annoying, it's just that I want to install it but I can't find the latest/updated version. Thank you!

The one on the thread is always the latest version. If you use the installer then the latest version will be selected automatically

That's an uppercase I, not an L. And there's no "latest thread", there's only one thread, and the version on there will always be the latest:

That thread will always be edited to be the latest version, It's also stickied on top of the mods sub-forum

Hi, the modloader is now part of the game so it doesn't have to be downloaded separately
