A chat in the top of the homepage, of course retractible (you can close and open it when you want), would be very useful for everyone. You can get helped instantly, you can give suggestion , you can talk, share things, have questions, etc. with everyone. Instantly.

What do you think about it?

I did look into this, I think there were some issues with it but I think the main reason I stopped thinking about it was I felt it would make the site look very cluttered. But I could look for a solution where it isn't on the front page perhaps.

I think that it would make the forum more relevant and make more builders use it. Also it would/could facilitate quicker answers for noobs. eg. when looking for those elusive & sneakily hidden modding pages ...where are they anyway?
