I made a scale using a ballast and a hinge, and I decided to weigh every item in the game. Some of them are actually kind of surprising...

IDK, I know your a staff member, But I made a extremely accurate scale, and even sped time up to 200% to see if there was any change. If a rocket truly is 0.20, then it should've balanced with a ballast that was 0.20, but it didn't. The ballast-side tipped downwards pretty far, so I assumed it was 0.19 or 0.18. IDK.
ITR list was extracted from the values inside the game.
I would blame the game physics which isn't that accurate to create an accurate scale.

Yeah, it's as Shade says, I made a mod to extract the values directly from the game.

I don't know why your values are different, the center of mass may be off for some of the blocks, did you account for that?

The scale is simply the starter cube, and underneath it is a hinge. Then there is one "holder" 6 blocks away from each side of the hinge, attached by 5 braces each. I put the blocks that i'm weighing on top of a wooden block which i place in the holder

Does this mean braces have a constant mass no matter the length?
Yes, they will always be 0.50. Making them lower disperses the weight farther, and the weight is usually on the ends of the braces. So if you're making an airplane and for turning you put braces on wheels, the longer the braces, the faster the turning. This is just physics, not weight change.
