Arrow despawn count?

Ok so I'm making a multiverse-friendly small helicopter, with it's weapon being a crossbow, and i'd like to know the math behind the arrow despawn, namely:
how many arrows does besiege keep in play before despawn?
is this computer-specific (stats of pc change it?)
is it changed by amount of crossbows?
is it on a timer (fast crossbows=more lag?)

I think it's closer to 81. I remember hearing that somewhere. I've got a machine with a rotary cannon, eight crossbows that fire simultaneously, and it doesn't fire fast enough for them to despawn.

try reducing the time scale, it allows you to count how many shot have been fired.
i tried with multiple crossbows (1,3,5,7,10) and each one of them start do despawn arrows after the 7 th or 8 th. i thinkit is scripted that way
