So I couldn't figure out how to do pistons on this one, unfortunately. You were smart with the way you designed the wheels, given the track you used, but in terms of making the pistons it pretty much rendered it impossible. Sorry!

Yeah, you have to hook up the pistons just right or else they hit the floor. It's tricky, but I'll have my luck at it tomorrow.

I really love the Great Train Robbery locomotive and gondola car, really nice looking and the false wheels look like they work great. Also, as a train enthusiast, I cringe at your pistons on the engine. A normal engine from the era you're trying to emanate would've used pistons like the ones on...

However it works out, this is really a great creation! :D

Do you think in the future this system could be implemented on making detailed trains, like actual realistic ones? Seems right now it relies a lot on the train itself being relatively simple looking.

Tiny Bump, updated it with new details (New smokestack, detailed cab interior, slanted roof, other pointless things) also downloaded multimod so I changed some of the things to have fancy rotations. As well as added cannons, fire with [C]. Attached Files

4-4-0 Steam Locomotive A new train using the v0.05 blocks. This train is pretty big, so be careful when placing it down. Also, when placing it down the front wheels will be lower than the back, this is because the front wheels are on a suspension and they equal out with the rear wheels...
