1. ### I'm Noticing a Trend

The Besiege developer team is clearly very small, and development is going to be slow as a result. I don't think however that there is any particular reason to be concerned right now, as the game has been in early access long enough for Spiderling to have a good idea as to income rates, and to...
2. ### Wheel differential

You can make a working differential with nothing more than a ballast block, three gears, and three braces. This vehicle for example has three, together with working universal joints...
3. ### Automatron (1.1.7) [Besiege v0.45] [spaar's Mod Loader] [ID 410]

@Voncrumb: that's Wang_w571's Cloud and Ground Texture Mod (http://forum.spiderlinggames.co.uk/forum/main-forum/besiege-early-access/modding/32802-cloud-and-ground-texture-mod-0-81-spaar-s-modloader) I'll post a link to it there, together with an extended one I currently use for aircraft...
4. ### Automatron (1.1.7) [Besiege v0.45] [spaar's Mod Loader] [ID 410]

Doh! You're quite right, there is nothing to stop me adding another action to the same automatron, I've no idea why I though it would need another one.
5. ### Automatron (1.1.7) [Besiege v0.45] [spaar's Mod Loader] [ID 410]

I've figured out a way to do self-centring steering hinges, though it needs four automatrons per hinge. This has enabled me to make a 16-automatron rocket-propelled aircraft. Still a work in progress, but it shows promise: :D Building this made me think of another useful option: would it be...

You can type in smaller values.
7. ### Automatron (1.1.7) [Besiege v0.45] [spaar's Mod Loader] [ID 410]

Excellent! I don't know whether this would be possible, but an action to move a steering hinge to a given angle would be very useful - you could then set up things like aircraft rudders to turn in either direction with a key press, and then centre when the key is released. There may actually be...
8. ### NoBounds Mod [Besiege 0.32+]

What has that got to do with the topic of this thread?
9. ### Forum bug

Forum bug: Message "Notice: Undefined index: f0d1 in ...\vb\api\content\text.php on line 1" displayed at the top, and the 'Post Reply' and search options won't scroll off the top of the sreen as you scroll down. This happens with Google Chrome in Win 7, and with Firefox in Ubuntu.

A simple gravity-feed mechanism seems to work, though this is only a quick test, and isn't exactly reliable: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5Fzlo83_rw&feature=youtu.be Y key to fire. Attached Files rl-00.bsg
11. ### Fireworks!!!

Who needs Kerbal Space Program? :D Spin stabilised. The decoupler is there because without it the whole thing tends to come back down still pointing upwards, resulting in the bomb flying off who knows where on impact. Decouple (J key) when the rockets stop. splatnik03.bsg Attached Files...
12. ### bsgmake - Assemble several bsg files into one. [stand-alone tool]

Yes, it works. How about explaining what your problem is, rather than yelling?
13. ### Isnt it about time this forum actually helped people find mods that work?

I am aware that modders do it in their spare time - I'm not complaining that the mods haven't been updated, I'm complaining that the master list claims that mods work when they don't. The problem is with the misleading list, not the mods themselves.
14. ### Isnt it about time this forum actually helped people find mods that work?

I've refrained from commenting on this previously, as obviously the developers don't have a great deal of time (and aren't supposed to be giving active support for mods anyway), and because mods are made by volunteers - who clearly can't be expected to watch the forum 24 hours a day, or make...
15. ### Remove Ice Barrier [Spaar`s Modloader]

@wang_w571 Thanks - I must have overlooked those commands, they look as if they will do exactly what I want.
